How to get cheap National park Ticket

National Park ticket is not included in bookings (same for all local operators) - but here is how to skip the line:

Please note that the not-included National Park fee (was €5 per person in April 2026) must be paid in cash while tour (usually credit card is possible but you never know!) - it is paid to the official National Park Authorities including a printed ticket.

Hint: Available Online (or buy at any National Park station) is a digital annual National Park ticket for -all- parks for €13,50 (06/2026)

Free private parking with your boat tour booking

All guests are invited to our free parking lot, even with pickup. Because parking in Virpazar is not only impossible in summer, it is extremely stressful because you need to find a free spot (can you imagine how long that takes....?) plus there is lot of "flying salesmen" who want to sell you over-prized tours, carpets and whatsoever. In den wirklichen kleinen Ort hinein zu fahren ist ... wie ein Hühnerstall, indem sie mit einem 30 Tonnen LKW fahren ;-). Frei parken können sie nirgends.

Arrival by Car: 

Option 1) because public parking is a nightmare in Virpazar center, this is best parking option for you because both the village center parking lots and the main parking lot just in front of the village (option 4 below) is a very bad option because full always. Trust me please.

Best option, as special courtesy for our guests, for free:

Please park for free on our private parking next to "Virpazar Train Station": Park in front or left to the shed with our poster of Noah’s Ark. Further detail information is below

Then you ideally take a relaxed foot walk with crossing the rail way (it's a bit "adventure" because you have to cross the rail way - you will hear the old and really slow train coming at least 10 minutes before it arrives ;-) and then continue on an marble stone foot walk through beautiful nature - see exact details below

Option 2) Parking Option 1 plus: We offer a Pickup&Drop-off from our parking space - however:  Since Pickup&Drop-off takes same time like walking (because of the heavy, daily traffic jam in the village) we cordially recommend the foot walk above. But please decide freely what is best for you: Please kindly inform us via mail to enquiry@virpazar-boat-tours.com if Pickup&Drop-off is requested.

Option 3) Come directly to our boating stage (no car parking space available!):

4) Other option - absolutely not recommended: public parking opposite the village (or parking in the village itself)

This is the usually fully over-crowded parking of Virpazar. They regularly even want to rip you off for a parking fee and try to push you away if you do not book a tour at that person - we are very very sorry that this is happening.

You have to go by foot for 10 - 15  minutes to us, there will be lot of "flying business men" try selling you whatever imaginable - annoying. There is a foot walk under the road, at the right edge of the parking / at the road. 

Arrival by train: 

Take Option 3 above, just add 3 minutes walking time because our parking is 200m from "Virpazar Train Station"

Arrival by bus: 

Same place like Option 4 above.

Arrival by bike: 

Either Option 1/2 above, just ask as before and you can lock the bikes in our entrance, or ask at our friends, Luna Market if you can put on their right side.

Or Option 3 and you lock the bicycle somewhere at the street, usually no problem

How to walk by foot from our free private parking to our boating stage

• Park in front of left of our shed with the poster of Noah's Ark.
• Start along the road (keep railway tracks on right hand side)
• You reach the main road after 100m
• Keep right: after 80m you see the speed limit sign "70" km/h - here you see the entry point to the gravel path on the other side of the railway tracks: walk to cross over the railway tracks - everyone does it and you hear and see the railway minutes before it comes; it is loud and slow and gives horn several times.
• enter the gravel path and you come into the shaded pedestrian walk in the green
• just continue thee walk for 500m until you reach the village (at the right side is a restaurant on a boat ("Silistria")
• just continue walking slightly right along the way (and see all the marketeers with their souvenirs)
• after 80m you reach the one and only main road of Virpazar, just right is the stone bridge: walk to cross over the bridge

• directly at the end of the bridge you walk into the first road to the right (slightly down) to continue along the river
• now you see the meadows with several boating stages
• continue walking for 100m and see a (partly broken) wooden stage on the meadows right hand side: here you find the stairs down to us (we have to install a sign, I know...)
• You arrived! Our boats are starting just at the end of the wooden stage - see photo below
